Dr. Candace Jones was born and raised in Albany, Georgia. She graduated with honors from Deerfield Windsor School, where she competed in basketball, soccer, and track. She continued her career in soccer by playing at Armstrong State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Cell Molecular Biology. During her junior year of undergrad, she became a charter member of Phi Mu Kappa Omicron. She then graduated with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. While in dental school, she was chosen to be part of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. Also during that time, she was a member and held various leadership roles in several organizations, such as the American Association for Women Dentist, the American Student Dental Association, Christian Medical and Dental Association, and the Dental College of Georgia Ambassador Program. She is committed to getting to know each patient and providing a comfortable environment during dental treatment.
She is married to Blake Jones, who is also a dentist and practices in Savannah. In their spare time, they enjoy being with family and friends, playing with their puppy Remi, and doing anything outdoors!
